welcome to robo picto comics ("robo picto," "we," "us," or "our"). by browsing, buying, or using our site and services, you're agreeing to these terms. they're here to keep things fair and straightforward for everyone. give them a read. if you don't agree, that's okay — but please don't use the site.

who we are

robo picto comics sells vintage and modern comics, art, collectibles, and branded merchandise. some of our inventory is brand new, some is pre-owned, and some of it's been around since the golden age. we grade and describe everything to the best of our ability using the overstreet grading standards as our guide. that said, grading is a human process and opinions can vary.

orders & payments

we accept major credit cards, paypal, venmo, apple pay, and whatever other payment methods are listed at checkout. all prices are in usd unless noted otherwise. when you place an order, you're authorizing robo picto comics (and our third-party processors) to charge your selected payment method for the full total — including shipping and any applicable taxes.

orders aren't final until we confirm them. if a listing error happens — say a rare book accidentally gets priced at a dollar — we reserve the right to cancel and refund that order at our discretion.

if a payment is declined, flagged for fraud, or reversed after we've already shipped, we reserve the right to cancel the order, suspend your account, and pursue recovery of any outstanding balance.

once payment goes through, your order moves into fulfillment. if you need to make changes, reach out right away — we'll do what we can, but once it's packed or shipped, it's usually final.

Shipping & delivery

we ship to the regions listed at checkout. delivery estimates are exactly that — estimates. we do our best to ship quickly, but we're not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.

risk of loss transfers to you once we hand the package off to the carrier. if your order gets lost or damaged in transit, we'll help you file a claim, but ultimate responsibility falls on the shipping provider.

returns & refunds

all sales are final. we don't offer returns or refunds unless the item you received is materially different from what was described. digital goods — downloads, scans, and other non-physical products — are non-refundable.

if your order arrives damaged or significantly misrepresented, contact us within 7 days of delivery. we'll work with you on a resolution, whether that's a replacement (if available) or a refund. claims made after 7 days may not be honored.

memberships & subscriptions

membership programs like the picto space program may include recurring billing, exclusive offers, and physical or digital perks. terms specific to each tier will be laid out at signup. robo picto comics reserves the right to update or modify membership terms, pricing, or benefits with prior notice. you can cancel anytime, but charges already processed are non-refundable.

intellectual property

everything on this site — our logo, branding, astronaut mascot, custom designs, product photography, original descriptions, and site layout — belongs to robo picto comics or its content creators and can't be used without written permission.

the comics and collectibles we sell may be based on public domain or third-party intellectual property. we don't claim ownership over the original creative works themselves. our rights apply only to how we present, describe, and brand our offerings.

accessibility (ada compliance)

robo picto comics is committed to making our site accessible to everyone, including users with disabilities, in accordance with the americans with disabilities act (ada). we work to ensure compatibility with assistive technologies and screen readers. if you run into any barriers while browsing, reach out to us at robopictocomics@gmail.com and we'll do everything we can to help.

user conduct

by using our site, you agree not to do anything unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive to other users. that includes any attempts to hack, scrape, or mess with site functionality or security.

limitation of liability

comics are collectibles — values go up and down, and we make no guarantees about future appreciation or resale value. to the fullest extent permitted by law, robo picto comics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our site or services.

dispute resolution

these terms are governed by the laws of the commonwealth of massachusetts. any disputes will be resolved in worcester, massachusetts, through binding arbitration or in small claims court, unless prohibited by law.

updates to these terms

we may update these terms from time to time. changes take effect once they're posted. if you keep using the site after an update, that means you're accepting the new terms.
