HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE FISH!
Two-Minute Anarchy! You’ve got a double blog today, which should already tell you something’s off.
It’s rare I post here—this is very much Joe Fish’s domain—but as the website admin, I’m officially commandeering the ship for the next two minutes because it’s not like HE is going to tell you it’s his birthday! it’s Benevolent anarchy. Strap in!
Yes, it also happens to be the birthdays of Marshall Rogers and Tim Dillon, which feels cosmically appropriate. But this post is really about Joe.
Believe it or not, we go way back. We’ve known each other for about 29 years—which is wild, considering I’m 29. Don’t overthink it.
There are two things from my childhood that I’m absolutely certain of:
I don’t remember a time Joe didn’t have a copy of the Essential Avengers within arm’s reach.
There was never a time in my life when Joe wasn’t looking out for me.
That’s just the truth. Joe is a wildly selfless guy—the steady hand, the quiet engine. Without him, Robo Picto Comics doesn’t run. The ship exists, but it doesn’t move.
He’s my brother. He’s our fearless leader. And I love him to death.
Happy birthday, Joe!
