aNDY FISH: THE GODFATHER OF PICTO
If you've watched one of our shows or met us at a con, chances are you've met our dad, Andy. He's more than a dad to us — he's our best friend, our biggest supporter, and honestly our hero. Whatever we're going through, big or small, he's the first one there. No questions asked.
For two and a half years he hasn't supported RoboPicto from the sidelines — he's been part of its heartbeat. He created the Major Picto logo you all know. He's stood beside us at con after con, and he's been the quiet hand behind so many of our IG shows, working out of frame so we could be in front of the camera. His knowledge of comics, toys, art, and film shaped so much of what we do. His belief in us shaped who we are.
About a month ago, our world stopped. Dad went in for what he thought was a routine visit and walked out with news no family is ready to hear: he's been diagnosed with two different blood cancers.
He's already started treatment, and he's facing it with the same strength and grace he's shown us our whole lives. But the road ahead is long, and it won't be easy — for him or for us.
Dad has spent most of his life as a freelance artist, ten-hour days, pouring his talent into everything he touches to provide for our family. Treatment means he can't keep that pace, and it's taking a toll — not just on his body, but on his ability to work and support himself the way he always has.
This is hard to ask, but we're asking anyway, because that's what he taught us to do when we need help. Our cousin Gina has started a GoFundMe for him. If you're able to give anything — or even just share his story — it would mean more to our family than words can say.
He's given so much of himself to all of us over the years. Now it's our turn to show up for him.
