We’re heading to the wild, wild West to take a look at a standout issue from a fantastic run by the publisher Mainline. The entire five-issue run of Bulls-Eye featured some killer Kirby covers — and even better interior art by Jack Kirby himself.
Mainline was a comic book publisher founded by the legendary duo Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. It was established in response to the collapse of several publishers during the comic book scare of the 1950s, which followed Congressional hearings and the looming threat of censorship.
This run is notoriously tough to find, so when we come across copies, we don’t hesitate to scoop them up!
