Terrific con Review

Terrific Con was a couple of weekends ago, and as always, it was a great show! This year was the biggest one yet in terms of attendance, and you could certainly tell. The place was absolutely packed on Saturday.

It’s truly a fun show, and the atmosphere is great. It has a different vibe than some of the other big shows we’ve been doing because it’s not strictly a comic book show. There are candy vendors, the big soda truck, and plenty of other things going on. But there are enough comic dealers spread throughout the room to bring in plenty of comic buyers.

Mohegan Sun is also just a fun place to visit. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the casino itself is stunning. The fact that you can stay right at the casino, walk to the convention, and have at least a dozen great restaurants within walking distance really takes this show up another notch. Leave the car parked for the weekend and we’ll see you on Sunday!

And as I mentioned, there are definitely some serious comic buyers in the room. We had a lot of people come up to us looking to trade, and because of that, we picked up a TON of fresh inventory. We’ll be getting those books onto the website and bringing them to our IG shows over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!

If you’re debating whether to hit a new show next year, Terrific Con should definitely be on your short list. It’s a great convention, a great location, and just an all-around fun weekend.
