PICTO HAPPENINGS

Another Monday, and yet another busy week in the wild world of Picto! Even before we can catch our breath from Wicked Con this weekend, we’re back at it.

We start with Monday, because it seems like we always do! Adam is your captain tonight as we go live with Ryan for the third time in less than two weeks — and boy, do we have some goodies. We picked up some fun books this weekend at the show, including the first Rocky & Bullwinkle and some amazing Bronze Age horror featuring Tom Sutton covers! We also picked up a couple of very cool pre-code horror books that you won’t want to miss out on. It all starts tonight at 7!

Tomorrow night, Adam will be live with a Picto & Friends show. He’s working on a surprise guest, and he’ll also be going over some of the books we’ll be showcasing this weekend at the Elite Comic Book Expo in Queens, NY.

The Saturday and Sunday show should be an absolute classic, with a guest list that includes Jim Lee and Jim Steranko!!!

Then we move over to our new Wednesday Whatnot show: Whacky Wednesday, starting at 11:58 PM Wednesday night. Why the weird time? Well, we can’t start a show at midnight on Thursday and call it Whacky Wednesday… and honestly, who even knows what 12:01 is anymore — AM or PM? Anywho, Adam has the goods and will be jumping on late night.

Then on Thursday, he’ll be back at our regular time slot of 5:35 with even more goodies — books you’ll definitely want to check out!

Busy, busy once again, but we can sleep in the winter. Let’s have a blast and see everyone tonight!
