The 20-page feature story, “The Impossible Escape!”, is written by Stan Lee, with layouts by John Romita, finished pencils and inks by Jim Mooney, colors by Marie Severin, and letters by Artie Simek. The story continues from the previous issue, with Spider-Man (Peter Parker) recovering from his battle with the Vulture. Supporting appearances include Captain George Stacy, Gwen Stacy, J. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, Harry Osborn, Mary Jane Watson, Norman Osborn, Aunt May, and Foggy Nelson. The Green Goblin appears in cameo flashback.
Additional contents include Bullpen Bulletins, Stan’s Soapbox, the Mighty Marvel Checklist, and a two-page “Spider’s Web” letters column featuring illustrations by John Romita and Don Heck (inks by Mike Esposito), along with contemporary advertisements.
Condition F+ (6.5) with moderate wear consistent with grade, solid structure, and complete interior. Unrestored.
