Batman intervenes, but the confrontation shatters the cure and triggers Langstrom’s terrifying full transformation—sprouting leathery wings to escape into the night. Backup story “My Place in the Sun!” (Mike Friedrich, Gil Kane & Vince Colletta) features Speedy visiting Robin at Hudson University as Robin questions his future as Batman’s partner.
