Fantastic Four #6 — VG/FN (5.0)
Fantastic Four #6 — VG/FN 5.0
September 1962 • Marvel Comics • Doom & Sub-Mariner team-up • Jack Kirby / Stan Lee
One of the great early Marvel villain books — the first time Doctor Doom and Namor the Sub-Mariner join forces against the Fantastic Four. This is pure early-’60s Marvel chaos: ego vs ego, science vs royalty, and Doom doing what Doom does best — using everyone around him until the whole thing burns down.
Inside is the full five-part epic “The Diabolical Duo Join Forces!” by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby with inks by Dick Ayers. The story features Doom manipulating Namor into an alliance, the Baxter Building launched into space, undersea warfare, betrayal, and full-scale Marvel melodrama at its best. This is one of the key “pets collide” issues of the run and a cornerstone Doom/Namor appearance from the Golden Age of Marvel villainy.
Maj. Picto’s Grading Notes (5.0 / VG-FN)
Front cover shows visible wear with light surface creasing, edge wear, and color rub, but retains solid color and structural integrity. Corners are rounded with small stresses along the spine. Back cover shows toning and general handling wear. Interior pages are off-white to light cream and complete with staples firmly attached. A clean mid-grade copy of a major FF key with strong presentation.
