Giant-Size Man-Thing #4 - F- 5.5

$49.00

Marvel Comics Group · Giant-Size Man-Thing #4 · May 1975 · $0.50 · 68 pages · Quarterly

Grade: F- 5.5

Edited by Roy Thomas.
Cover by Bernie Wrightson.

Man-Thing encounters Howard the Duck in swamp adventures that put the fowl face-to-face with death at the hands of Gorko the Man-Frog. The 68-page giant format gives Wrightson and company room to explore the atmospheric horror that made this series a standout in Marvel's Bronze Age lineup.

An early Howard the Duck appearance that predates his solo series popularity, making this a sleeper key for collectors tracking the character's development beyond his initial Adventure into Fear debut.

Condition F- 5.5 — Nearly sharp. A few tiny spine ticks and slight corner wear, but otherwise a very attractive specimen.. Noting: spine stress with color breaks along the entire length, minor corner wear on all corners, and light surface creasing visible on cover. <

We use what the scientists are calling artificial intelligence to research and write our descriptions — it gives us more time to add books to our website and provide you with a wider array of inventory. We think Klaatu would approve. Details are verified but the robot does slip up. We're not infallible. Every book is graded by a human collector who has actually held it.
