Cover titled “The Second Coming of the Cobalt Man!” with pencils and inks by Herb Trimpe and lettering by Gaspar Saladino.
The 19-page lead story, “Anybody Out There Remember… the Cobalt Man?”, is written by Roy Thomas with pencils and inks by Herb Trimpe, colors by Petra Goldberg, and letters by Jean Simek (credited as Jean Izzo). The story features Hulk (Bruce Banner), Thunderbolt Ross, Ted Roberts, and Cobalt Man (Ralph Roberts). The X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Iceman, Beast) appear in cameo flashback. Ralph Roberts exposes himself to a nuclear blast to regain his Cobalt Man powers, leading to a battle with the Hulk aboard a ship that ends with the vessel sinking as Banner begins reverting from Hulk form.
Additional contents include the “Green Skin’s Grab-Bag” letters page (art by Herb Trimpe) and Bullpen Bulletins, along with contemporary advertisements.
Condition VF/NM (9.0) with sharp corners, strong spine, clean interior pages, and high-grade presentation. Complete and unrestored.
