“The Cockeyed Wonder” featuring Super Duck, illustrated by Sybil Michelson — the anthropomorphic waterfowl gets into his usual slapstick predicaments with that wide-eyed expression that made him Archie's answer to Donald Duck during the Golden Age.

From Archie's experimental period before Archie Andrews took over the company — Super Duck represented their attempt to crack the Disney-style animal humor market that was dominating newsstands in 1946.

Condition VG- 3.5 — A classic reader. Some handling wear and stress, but the colors still pop and the structure is solid.. Noting: spine roll with stress lines throughout, corner wear most visible at upper right, edge wear along top and right sides, and name stamp present. <

We use what the scientists are calling artificial intelligence to research and write our descriptions — it gives us more time to add books to our website and provide you with a wider array of inventory. We think Klaatu would approve. Details are verified but the robot does slip up. We're not infallible. Every book is graded by a human collector who has actually held it.
