The 19-page lead story, “Day of Thunder — Night of Death!” is written by Roy Thomas with pencils by Herb Trimpe and inks by John Severin. Lettering is by Sam Rosen. The issue features the Hulk (Bruce Banner), Jim Wilson, Thunderbolt Ross, and introduces the villain Draxon. The story takes place in the fictional country of Morvania.
Pages 12 and 13 contain half story and half advertisement.
