The Incredible Hulk #6 - VG+ 4.5

$630.00

Marvel Comics · The Incredible Hulk #6 · March 1963 · $0.12 · 23 pages · Bi-Monthly

Grade: VG+ 4.5

Edited by Stan Lee. Indicia publisher: Marvel Comics Group.
Cover by Steve Ditko.

“The Metal Master!” (18 pages), written and illustrated by Steve Ditko — an alien conqueror with absolute dominion over all metal arrives on Earth and singles out the Hulk for a direct challenge. The Metal Master's powers make him a formidable opponent since he can control every piece of metal on the planet, forcing Banner and the Hulk into a uniquely difficult confrontation. Features Rick Jones, Betty Ross, and the final transformation sequences of the original series. Sam Rosen provides the lettering throughout.

The end of Marvel's first attempt at a solo Hulk book — after this cancellation, the character would wander through other titles for years before earning another ongoing series.

Condition [GRADE PLACEHOLDER] — Classic reader grade. Honest wear throughout, but the colors still pop and it sits well in a bag. Noting: light spine stress visible, small color-breaking crease front upper right. Complete interior, structurally sound, and unrestored.

We use AI to research and write our descriptions — we think Klaatu would approve of this miniscule relinquishment of power to the robots. Details are verified where possible but comics are complicated and we're not infallible. Every book is graded by a human collector who has actually held it. If something looks off, just ask.
