The main story, “Into the Crimson Cosmos!” (20 pages), is written by Roy Thomas, penciled by Werner Roth, and inked by John Tartaglione. It features the X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel) along with Professor X. Characters appearing include Juggernaut (Cain Marko), Doctor Strange (flashback), the Ancient One (flashback), Factor Three, and the Outcast (Xorak), who is introduced and dies in this issue.
